Edward Conrad “Ted” Boyle of St. George, formerly of Ogden, celebrated his 90th birthday with a family dinner at the Black Bear Restaurant in St. George on Aug. 10.
He was born Aug. 10, 1922, in Ogden to Lawrence and Saila Boyle. He married Hazel P. Roskruge on July 5, 1952, in Bogota, Colombia.He attended schools in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School. He continued his education at Utah State University, Weber State University and the University of Utah. He graduated from Thunderbird Academy in Phoenix.
He took time out to serve his country during World War II by joining the Air Force.
He worked for Citibank for 35 years, living in many countries. He retired from Citibank and moved to Rio Verde, Ariz., enjoying the weather and golf. He and his wife moved to St. George recently to be closer to family.
Their children and spouses are Sharon and Randy Brower, Linda and Scott Davis, Kim Campbell and Sarah Boyle.
