Spaghetti dinner, auction benefit planned for infant cancer patient

CLEARFIELD — Clearfield Community Church, 200 S. 500 East, will host a spaghetti dinner and silent auction at 7 p.m. Friday to benefit the family of Jude Biesecker.

Dinner includes a green salad, a side of veggies, dessert and a drink.

A silent auction of products and services from local businesses will follow.

Cost is $8 per adult/$5 per child. All proceeds go to Jude Biesecker, an 8-week-old cancer patient, and his family.

Jude was only 3 weeks old when he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a tumor that took up two-thirds of his chest. After an extensive surgery, he developed kidney failure and chylothorax, fluid filling his chest cavity. Jude has spent more than half his life in the hospital.

Donations of goods or services from local businesses are being accepted for the auction. To participate, call: Laura, 325-660-4231; Cathy, 801-825-1115; or Erin, 801-643-8197.
