OGDEN — Weber County commissioners have approved a temporary exception for two special event off-site signs.
The signs will be used to advertise the Huntsville Marathon to be held Sept. 29. The course stretches from Monte Cristo to Huntsville Park. Marathon organizers expect up to 1,500 runners to participate in half- and full-marathons
The commissioners also took the opportunity to ask about the status of a proposed signage ordinance being worked on.
“There are a lot of things in the valley, and I would hate to have to have an exemption every week,” Commissioner Craig Dearden said.
