DeVon and Marva Morse

DeVon “Bob” C. Morse and Marva Lee Morse of West Weber celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family party.
They were married on Aug. 22, 1952, at College Ward in Cache County. Their vows were solemnized on May 18, 1955, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple.
Born to Evan C. and Clara Morse in Tremonton on Sept. 24, 1933, he is the second of seven children.
He spent his working years self-employed, retiring from the insurance industry in 2000, selling his agency to two of his sons. He enjoys woodworking and working in his garden.
Born to Melvin and Louise Ward in Logan, she is the oldest of six children. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 2001 after more than 20 years of service.
She enjoys nothing more than organizing lavish holiday parties for her family. These gatherings sometimes involve costumes and always include the singing of silly songs.
They have enjoyed many callings in their church, but especially their mission for the Church Education System to Durban, South Africa.
Their children and their spouses are Michael and Georgia Morse, Steven and Dawn Morse, David and Joan Morse, Dee and Kim Morse, Janean and Roy Dietzman, and Nathan and Nina Morse.
They have 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
