Library needs volunteers for adult literacy program

OGDEN — The Weber County Library is looking for volunteers to help adults learn to read.

Volunteers will need to attend a four-hour workshop/training to introduce them to the Laubach Way to Reading Series and adult learning needs.

The next training will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 15.

Anyone interested in volunteering should call 801-337-2632 to ensure a place at the training.

Anyone who knows someone who needs to learn to read may refer them to their local branch library to sign up for a trained tutor.
