Utah's public art is theme of free exhibit

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Public Art Program will present the exhibit “Placemaking: The Process and Influence of Public Art in Utah.”

“Placemaking” shares artists’ concepts and samples created in the process of making public art for sites all over Utah.

The exhibition runs through Sept. 14 at the Rio Gallery, 300 S. 455 West, Salt Lake City. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free.
