FARMINGTON -- The Utah Highway Patrol identified a man killed in a traffic accident Tuesday night.
Enriqui Vealero, 52, of Ogden, pulled off of northbound Interstate 15, near Mile Marker 323, when he ran out of gas.
UHP Cpl. Todd Johnson said Vealero had parked his Chevrolet Monte Carlo about 3 feet from the road and was filling the tank with a gas can.
The driver of a Hyundai Accent drifted off the road and hit the rear end of the Monte Carlo, also hitting Vealero, who died at the scene.
The collision caused the Monte Carlo to spin onto the road, where it was hit by a Honda Civic.
The driver of the Hyundai Accent received minor injuries and was transported to the hospital, while the driver of the Honda Civic was treated at the scene and released.
No charges have been filed at this time.
UHP is still investigating what caused the driver of the Hyundai to veer off the road.
