Pipes stolen from West Haven farm

WEST HAVEN — The Weber County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of irrigation pipes valued at $1,000 from a West Haven farm.

The owner of a corn field had 20 aluminum irrigation siphon pipes stolen, according to the sheriff’s office Facebook account. The pipes are 7 feet long, 3 inches in diameter and worth $50 each.

The owner believes they were stolen sometime between Aug. 20 and Tuesday.

A sheriff’s office deputy contacted local recyclers but no one had visited the businesses trying to get rid of that type of pipe.
