SUNSET -- Utah Division of Wildlife Resources conservation officers are seeking information regarding the dumping of an entire deer in a large trash bin near Main Street in Sunset.
The deer was dumped between Aug. 20 and Aug. 21.
DWR officers were summoned to the scene by a concerned citizen. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that an entire 2 x 3 buck mule deer, wrapped in a blue tarp, had been placed in the trash bin. The animal had been field dressed, but no meat had been removed. A preliminary inspection indicated that the animal had been shot in the right shoulder.
