We lose no matter who's elected

Editor,

Well, the conventions are over. Now it’s up to the voters. The GOP delegates were white, upper class, right-wing Republicans. The Democratic delegates were mostly liberal blacks, Hispanics, other minorities and Anglos.

The Romney platform: Get rid of Obama. abolish Obamacare. reduce government entitlement programs, i.e., Social Security, welfare, programs for the poor and elderly, student loans, health care. They’re opposed government bailouts and regulations for auto makers and Wall Street bankers. Romney claims he will create 12 million new jobs! He didn’t say how. No mention of the wars. It’s shades of G.W. Bush!

Obama says there’s much to be done considering the financial deficit mess he inherited from Bush, such as reduce unemployment, improve education, assist undocumented immigrants (oxymoron), improve health care for the poor and seniors, reduce taxes for the middle class and increase taxes for the super rich.

Summary: Is the economy better off under Obama? Compared to Bush 1, the worst president ever, it is.

Obama, the super liberal, however, compounded the problem by increasing the deficit exponentially like a drunken sheepherder from which we will never recover! So it’s a lose-lose situation for all Americans which ever party wins in November!
