New century pioneers topic of SUP meeting

OGDEN — New century pioneers will be the topic at the Ogden Pioneer Chapter Sons of the Utah Pioneers lunch meeting at noon today at Comfort Suites Inn, 21st Street and Interstate 15 (2250 South 1200 West).

Speakers will be William J. Critchlow III and Kenneth J. Alford, both Ogden natives.

The subject will be “20th and 21st Century Pioneers.”

Critchlow, an attorney, is past president of the Ogden Sons of the Utah Pioneers, National Sons of Utah and a doctor of humanities from Weber State University.

Alford, who is retired, served as principal at Central and Mount Ogden junior high schools.

The cost of one luncheon meeting for potential members is paid by the Ogden Chapter.

For other guests there is a $12.50 charge.
