HARRISVILLE — The Weekend Bread Ministry at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1105 N. Washington Blvd. in Harrisville, is conducting a food drive now through Oct. 7.
This ministry is currently serving 3 families in the area. Not only is the ministry collecting food items — members are also being asked to provide shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Gift cards purchased from local grocery stores are also being accepted to enable the ministry to purchase perishable goods such as eggs and milk each week.
