Car seat safety check set for today

RIVERDALE — The Weber-Morgan Health Department is holding a free car seat checkpoint from noon to 2:30 p.m. today at Old Navy, 4125 Riverdale Road.

Certified technicians will check for proper installation and advise parents how to choose and install the appropriate car seat.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, car crashes are the number one killer of children between the ages of 1 and 13 in the United States.
