AshLee Jo Hansen and Ernesto Rene Cano Jr. were united in marriage on July 28 in a grove of trees behind a log cabin in Harrisville. The bridegroom’s parents later hosted a reception in their honor at the log cabin. The ceremony was officiated by Baptist Pastor Dave Harvey.
The bride is the daughter of Nathan and Deborah Hansen of Harrisville.
Parents of the bridegroom are retired Gunnery Sgt. E.R. and Karen Christian Cano of North Ogden.
The bride chose Cherre Nestelroad as her maid of honor. Toni Moriarty, Vicki Nguyen and Heather Hansen were her bridesmaids.
Andrew Cano performed best man duties. Robert Palmer, Justin Oates and Joseph Nestelroad served as his groomsmen.
She is a 2011 graduate of Fremont High School. She also graduated from the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College in 2012 with a certified nursing assistant degree. She is employed by Crestwood Assisted Living.
He is a 2007 graduate of Weber High School. A member of the U.S. Air Force, he is currently stationed at Hill Air Force Base.
