Earl B. and DeAnn S. Jolley of Ogden celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Their four sons: Neil Jolley, Michael Jolley, Mark Jolley, Jimmy Jolley, and all of the grandchildren, joined them for a party at Beez Cafe in Roy this past week. At the end of the month, they plan to travel to California in their motor home.

They were married on Sept. 14, 1962, in the Richmond community center because an earthquake destroyed the Richmond chapel and stake center a month before that date. Their vows were later solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple.

She is the daughter of Dean and AlDean Smith, formerly of Richmond. He is the son of Sam and Mona Jolley, formerly of River Heights. Their parents are deceased.

They enjoy dancing and usually do so three times a week.
