Sheridan Adam and Lula Kay Wilson of Clinton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at a family dinner.
They were married on Sept. 19, 1952, in Henefer.
He was born and raised in Clinton. He retired from farming and Hill Air Force Base.
She was born in Tremonton and raised in Tremonton and Sunset. She retired from the Davis County school lunch program and McKay-Dee Hospital.
They have enjoyed traveling to California, Kentucky and Washington, as well as camping, motorcycle rides, a hot air balloon ride, and a deep-sea fishing excursion, which they say that they would probably rather forget. Together they have made quilts that they have given as gifts to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They have also done lots of babysitting.
Their children and spouses are Gary and Carilee Wilson, Roy; Susan and Pete Weston, Clinton; Glen and Susan Wilson, Roy; Steven and Cheryl Wilson, West Valley; and Sheila and Todd Daines, Mountain Green. They have 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren with three on the way.
