Pleasant View officials discuss flooding

PLEASANT VIEW -- The recent rainstorm caused flooding to at least nine residential homes, according to councilman Toby Mileski.

Mileski said that on 400 West, below Elberta drive, residents had to sand bag their property and there were rocks from above rolling down and landing in driveways and on lawns.

In other city business, council members discussed sprucing up the city for holidays and celebrations with poles and banners with various holiday themes. The banners could be created by a print shop at the Utah State Prison for about $25 each according to Mileski.

Council members did not make a decision about the banners but decided to look into it.
