Learn about Lincoln at Weber State talk

OGDEN — Weber State’s Department of History on Tuesday will host the lecture “Lincoln as Commander in Chief: Three Examples.”

The lecture, part of the Lampros Lecture Series, will be offered by Craig L. Symonds, U.S. Naval Academy professor emeritus. Symonds will discuss how Lincoln managed the naval side of the Civil War.

The free, two-hour talk will begin at 7 p.m. at the Hurst Center for Lifelong Learning, in Dumke Hall. Weber State is at 3848 Harrison Blvd.
