LAYTON — Police are responding to a report of an overturned semitrailer near the intersection of U.S. 89 and Cherry Lane in Layton.

Traffic is closed to motor vehicles in both north and south directions on U.S. 89, according to police dispatchers. Information was not immediately available regarding possible injuries.

The Standard-Examiner will provide more information as it becomes available.
