FARMINGTON -- A married couple facing charges for their roles in an armed robbery of LoanMax in Layton could resolve their case by Nov. 1.
Tchaikovsky Jordan Crosley, 24, and his wife, Kenyata Cherrelle Crosley, 23, both of Layton, appeared in 2nd District Court on Thursday for a pretrial conference.
Tchaikovsky Crosley is charged with first-degree felony robbery. Kenyata Crosley is charged with second-degree felony obstructing justice. Both have entered not guilty pleas to the charges.
Police said Tchaikovsky Crosley robbed LoanMax at 339 N. Main St. on April 6. Police said Kenyata Crosley knew her husband had left the apartment that morning but concealed that information from police when she was questioned.
Judge Thomas L. Kay said if a resolution has not been reached in the case at the next hearing set for Nov. 1, then the case will go to trial.
