Homeless shelter site to hold gala

OGDEN — The future home of St. Anne’s Center, which will then be called Lantern House, will be the site of a public celebration at noon Wednesday at the corner of 33rd Street and Pacific Avenue.

The event, which is being called “Site Preparation Day,” will include an address by Rep. Brad Dee, the majority leader in the Utah House of Representatives, who will represent the state of Utah.

Officials also will announce the successful bidder for the site preparation in anticipation of construction of the new facility this spring.

Light refreshments will be served.
