PLEASANT VIEW -- As council members recently discussed amending the past year's budget, they were reminded some projects never got started and some weren't completed, City Recorder Laurie Hellstrom said.

That left $72,460 to be carried over into the next budget. Projects budgeted but being moved forward are $50,000 for salt sheds and a park impact fee study for $10,000.

"We haven't done that plan," Hellstrom said. Unexpected expenses were paid out of the general fund for vehicle repair in the parks department, she said, and a Jacobson mower cost $2,200. A sprinkler box also was needed for Shady Lane Park at $2,000.

Council members unanimously approved the budget amendments.
