A couple from Germany learned the hard way RVs can be hard to handle in small areas. The couple, who were in their 60s, were driving through Lloyd Mobile Home Park in Kaysville on Sept. 27 when the man, who was driving the rented RV, tried to maneuver around a parked vehicle, lost control of the RV and ran through a carport. KAYSVILLE -- A couple from Germany learned the hard way that RVs can be hard to handle in small areas.

The couple, in their 60s, was driving through Lloyd's Mobile Home Park, 241 S. 700 East, Kaysville, on Sept. 27 when the man, who was driving the rented RV, tried to maneuver around a parked vehicle, said Davis County Sheriff's Sgt. Susan Poulsen.

The man lost control of the RV and drove through a carport, which was next to a mobile home.

The carport and a car parked under the carport sustained damage. No one was injured.

Because the accident happened on private property, no one was cited, Poulsen said.
