BRIGHAM CITY -- Brigham City Community Hospital will host a free community health fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday on the Utah State University Brigham City campus, 195 W. 1100 South.
Free screenings include diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, bone density, podiatry, vision, body mass index and more.
A complete blood screen worth more than $200 will be offered during the fair to current nonmembers of h2u for a $20 annual fee to join.
A 12-hour fast is recommended before having the tests.
Activities will include "Ask a Pharmacist" and "Ask a Physical Therapist" sessions, free bike helmets for the first 100 children, children's ID kits and children's health screenings.
Random drawings for prizes will be held.
More than 25 local, state and physician groups will participate, providing information about nutrition, stroke education, healthy heart, breast cancer, imaging, immunization and oximetry (blood oxygen) testing.
A clown will offer free balloon animals and face painting.
