WSU physics open house scheduled

OGDEN -- Weber State University will host its annual Physics Open House on Friday.

The free event will include the “Circus of Physics” demonstration show, which includes levitating billiard balls, disappearing test tubes, glowing pickles and floating soap.

Other presentations will include new images from Mars, and the physics of air, lasers, rockets and high-altitude ballooning.

The sixth annual event will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Lind Lecture Hall, home to the Ott Planetarium, at 1551 Edvalson St. Additional parking will be at the Dee Events Center, with a shuttle bus provided.
