Commissioners move to new office

FARMINGTON — The Davis County Commission is literally on the move.

The commission has canceled its 10 a.m. Tuesday meeting in order to move out of its offices in the Memorial Courthouse at 28 E. State St. and into the new Davis County Administrative Office building about 200 yards south.

The new commission offices and chambers are on the third floor of the three-story structure at 61 S. Main St. in downtown Farmington.

The commission will resume its regularly scheduled meetings on Oct. 16.

The ceremonial grand opening for the new administrative office building will be Nov. 9.
