OGDEN -- A 39-year-old man was listed in stable but critical condition Monday night following an accident involving his motorcycle and a car at the corner of 36th Street and Brinker Avenue.

Ogden Duty Lt. Willard Cragun said the 8:19 p.m. accident was under investigation. No citations had been issued.

He said the motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet and sustained head injuries and other injuries.

Cragun said a 1996 Ford Explorer was turning northbound off of eastbound 36th Street when it collided with a 1988 Yamaha XT 350 dirt bike.

Cragun said a 21-year-old woman was driving the Ford. The motorcyclist, who did not have identification and could not be identified, was driving westbound on the same road.

The injured man was taken to McKay-Dee Hospital.
