Woman killed in OHV accident near Coalville

COALVILLE — A 27-year-old woman from Wanship is dead after an off-road vehicle rollover in Coalville over the weekend.

Utah State Parks and Recreation officials say Alissa McCandless died in the crash near Camper World about 6 p.m. Saturday.

She was the passenger in a side-by-side vehicle being driven by a 30-year-old Coalville man, who was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officials say they found alcohol at the scene but haven’t yet determined if it contributed to the crash. Authorities say it doesn’t look like two were wearing seatbelts or helmets.
