OGDEN -- A 35-year-old Ogden man was arrested early Wednesday morning when police say he threatened the owner of a truck he was in the process of burglarizing.
Ogden Police Lt. Chad Ledford said Bryan Anthony Keller was caught burglarizing a truck parked at 220 21st St., across the street from the Ogden Police Station, at 7:36 a.m.
"The person who caught him told him to stop, and Bryan grabbed a crowbar that he was using to try to pry open the steering column," Ledford said.
"The suspect grabbed the crowbar and said, 'Leave me alone,' and the victim said, 'I'm calling the cops,' and he told him, 'You better not call the cops' as he was holding the crowbar."
Ledford said the suspect fled and was caught two blocks away. Police found items from the truck on him.
Keller was booked into Weber County Jail on one charge of aggravated robbery. He was also found to be wanted on a warrant for probation violation out of Iowa. Bail was set at $20,000.
