PAROWAN — More charges have been filed against a survivalist suspected of burglarizing Utah cabins and evading law enforcement for years.

The Salt Lake Tribune reportsthe Iron County Attorney obtained an arrest warrant last week charging Troy James Knapp with burglary and theft.

Iron County is the third county to bring charges against the 45-year-old Knapp. Kane and Garfield counties have also filed.

The new warrant details four burglaries reported between 2009 and 2011 on Summit Mountain and Cedar Mountain.

The cabins that were broken into were usually missing food or alcohol, in keeping with Knapp’s alleged patterns. Court documents say fingerprints in each of the cabins matched Knapp’s.

Authorities consider Knapp armed and dangerous. Several cabins he’s suspected of living in have been riddled with bullet holes.
