Update on Ogden Temple renovation to be given Saturday

OGDEN — Elder L. Gyle Hollingsworth will provide a construction update on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ new Ogden Temple as part of the Ogden FamilySearch Library lecture series. The lecture will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the LDS library, 539 E. 24th St., Ogden.

Hollingsworth also will present information on the Weber County Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum relocation, the Ogden Tabernacle remodeling, and the temple block landscaping and parking. Hollingsworth is currently the inspector of construction on the Ogden Temple project.

Two classes will follow the presentation: “Indians – Friend or Foe to Early Saints” and “Early History of Hooper, Utah.”
