Library to observe Day of the Dead

OGDEN — A Day of the Dead celebration will be held Nov. 1 at the Weber County Main Library, 2464 Jefferson Ave.

Day of the Dead is an annual festival in Mexico, held in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1, and All Souls’ Day, Nov. 2, to remember and celebrate the dead.

The program begins at

6 p.m. and features activities representing Mexican cultural traditions, including decorating sugar skulls, crafts and festive foods. An informational lobby display will be available.
