SYRACUSE -- A tri-city emergency fair on Nov. 3 is meant to help area residents be ready.
Residents of Clearfield, Syracuse and West Point are invited to the Tri-City Emergency Preparedness Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Syracuse Community Center, 1912 W. 1900 South.
The three cities have joined efforts to educate their residents on being better prepared in the event of an emergency.
The free event includes information booths, 72-hour kit and emergency planning, as well as professionals, agencies and volunteers to assist individuals on specific preparedness topics.
The Davis County Sheriff's Department will provide child fingerprinting services for parents. There will also be pet adoptions and animal control representatives to help people figure out what to do with their pets during an emergency.
