Tara Bee Wood and Jesse Wayne Thompson were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Weber County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse House in Harrisville, where a reception and dance were held in their honor. The ceremony was officiated by Bishop Bryan Arrington.

The bride is the daughter of Travis and Carol Wood of Layton, and Trisha and Scott Evans of West Haven. Parents of the bridegroom are Lee and Suzanne Thompson of Farr West.

The bride chose her sister, Tori Wood, as her maid of honor. Tiffany Farr, Kaylee Bell and Kelsi Bell were her bridesmaids.

The groom’s brother, Cory Thompson, performed the duties of best man. Justin Dee, John Barnett and Josh Barnett were his groomsmen.

She graduated from Fremont High School and is pursuing a degree as an X-ray technician. She works at Peery Family Medicine.

He graduated from high school and is an apprentice electrician for Lineside Electric Co. in Ogden.

The new couple will live in Farr West after their honeymoon.
