Teen driver fails turn, crashes into Washington Terrace house

WASHINGTON TERRACE — A teenager drove his red Honda Civic into a house Tuesday morning after failing to negotiate a turn.

Weber County Sheriff’s Lt. Mark Lowther said the house at 187 E. 4700 South in Washington Terrace received some cosmetic damage, but the car was totalled.

Emergency crews treated the driver and the three other passengers for injuries that were not life-threatening. Although the house was occupied at the time of the crash, no one inside the house was injured.

The sheriff’s office cited the driver for reckless driving.
