Police seek man who took edger

WOODS CROSS — Police are searching for a man who walked out of a store without paying for an edger he took with him.

The man, who was wearing a ball cap, appears to be in his late 30s and white, said Woods Cross Police Chief Greg Butler.

He walked out of the Croft Equipment store at 1500 S. 500 West, Woods Cross, at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 28, with the edger. He drove away in a light-colored, older model Dodge pickup truck, Butler said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 801-292-4422.
