Melvin C. and Joyce A. Udy of Washington Terrace will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. A private dinner with family will be held in their honor at a later date.
They were married on Oct. 26, 1962, in Washington Terrace.
He was born on Dec. 23, 1939, in Plymouth to Clifton and Violet Udy. He is a 1957 graduate of Weber High School and served two years in the U.S. Army. He retired from Hill Air Force Base after 34 years of service.
She was born on Dec. 28, 1943, to Lillie Todd in Ogden. She is a 1962 graduate of Davis High School. She retired from Internal Revenue Service in October 2000.
Their children and spouses are Kyia Udy and John Zogmaister, Annette Udy and Lance London, and Mark and Dawn Udy.
They have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
