Myrtle Harrison Perry of Ogden celebrated her 90th birthday with her family on Saturday, Oct. 27.
She was born on Oct. 30, 1922, in Tremonton to Victor B. and Ellis R. Harrison. She had one sister Ruth Harrison Hill (deceased).
She lived in California and moved to Pleasant View, where she met her sweetheart and future husband Bill Perry. They were married on June 21, 1944, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple. They were married for more than 47 years when her husband died on Dec. 15, 1991.
Their children and spouses are Linda and Richard Webb, and Steve and Shezelle Perry.
She has five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is active in the LDS Church, having served in the Relief Society, Primary, Spanish extraction program, Relief Society magazine representative and the stake Sunday School secretary.
She worked at the Ogden Arsenal, ZCMI and as secretary at Temperature Control Inc. with her husband and son.
