Roofer dead after falling through SLC skylight

SALT LAKE CITY — Authorities say a 51-year-old man is dead after falling through a skylight in Salt Lake City.

Officials with the Salt Lake City Fire Department say they responded to a call of a roofing accident about 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

Crews say a man who was working on the roof of a warehouse had fallen about 30 feet through the skylight and was dead on arrival.

Firefighters say the man was with a small group of workers who were repairing the warehouse roof.
