TAYLORSVILLE — Police say a 63-year-old Taylorsville man had enough strength to tell them his adult stepson had stabbed him before he died of his injuries.
Unified police say they responded to reports of a stabbing on West Rebecca Ann Circle a little after 3 a.m. Monday. Authorities say they went inside and found a badly injured John Palm, who blamed his stepson.
Palm was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition and died shortly after.
Police say they chased and caught 30-year-old stepson Doneral Dalton, who was seen running away from the home.
Police spokesman Lt. Justin Hoyal says the two men had a history of domestic violence.
