BOUNTIFUL -- The city council has approved an amended site plan for Smith’s Marketplace and the drive entrance and parking lot for the store near the intersection of 100 West and 500 South.
The plan, approved during a recent city council meeting, modifies a driveway to the store with more turning lands and also calls for a sign in front of the former Hollywood Video store to be removed and replaced with landscaping. The former video building will also be remodeled and repurposed as a likely training facility for the store, under site plan specifics.
The amended plan also calls for completion of an unfinished section of the parking lot on the east side of the property.
Great Basin Engineering represented Smith’s in pushing the amended site plan.
