What do Park Jae-sang and Samantha Gordon have in common?
Easy. They are YouTube sensations helping us forget about the elections and the economy and the weather.
Jae-sang, also known as PSY, is the goofy singer/dancer who has made Gangnam Style popular on the internet and on the dance floor. His original post has garnered, get this, 686,284,999 views as of Friday night.
Meanwhile, Sam Gordon is an 8-year-old football phenom from Utah who has been the topic of conversation in the sports world for the past week.
A highlight video of the talented girl breaking tackles, outrunning her Ute Conference football foes and starring for her Gremlins team is all over the internet.
More than 541,000 have viewed the highlights at last count. ESPN and other sports show spent much of the midweek breaking down the runner’s moves.
So smile, put aside your concerns over girls playing football and kids sustaining concussions, and just enjoy the moment. It’s worth it.
