Cougars, Aggies push NCAA soccer game to Saturday

PROVO - BYU's first-round NCAA women's soccer game with in-state rival Utah State, scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., was postponed due to weather conditions and been rescheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at South Field.

Fans who have already purchased tickets will be able to use their tickets at tomorrow's game.

The first round game will feature the No. 1 seeded Cougars hosting Utah State.

USU (13-2-6) is heading to its second-straight NCAA tournament after earning the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid following winning the WAC tournament title for the second year in a row. The Aggies have won eight-straight matches. USU has an 11-match unbeaten streak with their last loss coming against BYU on Sept. 20.


BYU (18-1-1, 7-0-1 WCC) is one of four No. 1 seeds along with Florida State, Stanford and Penn State.
