Sister Stephanie brightens a room by entering it

Editor,

It was with both sadness and gratitude that I read the article detailing the impending departure of the Catholic sisters from the local area. They have had such a positive impact on our community for years and they will be sorely missed.

When facing extended treatments several years ago at Ogden Regional Hospital, I was uplifted every day by these caring and compassionate sisters. Their countenance is such a comfort to anyone who walks through the doors. Always encouraging and looking for ways to serve others. Sister Stephanie could brighten a room just by entering. I will always view her as our local Mother Teresa.

To all of them, thanks so much for the loving influence you have had on our community and best wishes for your future endeavors. The new communities you will serve are very fortunate.
