LAYTON -- The sixth annual Layton Nativity concert and lighting ceremony will be held at the Layton High School Auditorium at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The concert will include numbers from the Westminster Bell Choir, Saint Rose of Lima choirs (both English- and Spanish-speaking); Grace Presbyterian Choir; LDS Valley View Stake Choir; Bluff Ridge Elementary Show Choir; and Wasatch Master Chorale.
Following the concert, a candle procession to the Nativity scene across the road will take place, said Fred Meese, event organizer.
There participants will sing "Silent Night," and the Nativity will be lighted for the season, Meese said.
The Nativity consists of 15 pieces, including the Holy Family, shepherds, wisemen, a donkey, camels, sheep and a star.
Refreshments will be served.
Everyone in the community who desires to share in the Christmas spirit is invited to attend.
The event is free.
