Osmonds to be at Station Park event

FARMINGTON – Station Park will kick off the holiday season with a tree-lighting ceremony and live entertainment by The Osmonds 2nd Generation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

The tree-lighting ceremony will be in the development’s village center.

The park’s skating rink and Santa House will also open for the season at that time.

Festivities start at 6 p.m. with comedian Steven Jones and music by the Pink Stilettos and the Osmonds 2nd Generation. Costumed stilt-walkers will mingle with the crowd.

Mayor Scott Harbertson is scheduled to turn the switch on a 35-foot-tall tree at 7:10 p.m. The tree is decorated with 3,000 lights, 700 ornaments and 300 yards of ribbon-tied bows.
