The controversy over a library book in an elementary school in Kaysville highlights the problems in our society. First of all, it is biologically impossible for a child to have two mommies. A daddy must be in the equation.
It is also biologically impossible for a child to have two Daddies. A mommy must be in the equation. But to ask that a book be available to all elementary students to view without any guidelines is asking too much.
It is hard enough for children to understand sex without adding confusion to the mix by talking about two mommies. Society has crossed the line of what should be acceptable for children and what should be out of bounds. I blame our union-controlled education system.
