Syracuse police chief nominee a good choice

I am a Boy Scout and my troop and I attended the Syracuse City Council meeting on Tuesday, November 13, for our communications merit badge. We wanted to see the new police chief get appointed.

The council members argued a lot about whether they should approve the police chief then and there. Some of the council members wanted to see all of the resumes. They didn’t want to trust the selection committee and wouldn’t approve him that night, so they tabled it. In my opinion they should have appointed him that night. I heard him speak and he sounds like the right man for the job.
