Public invited to Clearfield open house

CLEARFIELD -- A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for the newly remodeled state Archives Records Center building at the Freeport Center in Clearfield is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29.

The ceremony will include remarks by individuals who played a key role in securing and renovating the facility, including Kimberly K. Hood, executive director of the Department of Administrative Services; Gregg Buxton, director of the Division of Facilities and Construction Management; Wayne Christensen, Division of Facilities and Construction Management; and Patricia Smith-Mansfield, director of the Division of State Archives.

Public tours of the facility are scheduled following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The center is at 5th and C streets, Building C-6.

From Interstate 15, travel west on Antelope Drive to 3rd Street. Turn north onto 3rd Street and the go east to C Street.
