Syracuse council approves project

SYRACUSE -- A subdivision project of 52 housing units located on approximately 7.04 acres has been granted final subdivision approval by the city council.

The council voted 5-0 to approve phase B of the Sunset Park Villages project at approximately 1840 South and 910 West recently. The project is located in a planned residential development (PRD) zone.

Originally approved in 2008, the plat for the project was never recorded so the council vote is a renewal of a previous final plat approval, according to Michael Eggett, community economic development director.
